Cancellation Policy

VelentoRentals.com Cancellation & Modification Policy

If you reserved through a 3rd party, the cancellation policy is reflected on their site. We adhere to their cancellation policy.

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made outside of 60 days prior to your arrival will result in a full refund.
  • Cancellations made inside of 60 days prior to your arrival will result in forfeiture of all monies.
  • No refund due to illness, medical emergencies, airline delays, strikes, work, or weather-related delays or cancellations, including hurricanes/tropical storms.

Modifications:

  • Any modification to your reservation dates (including postponements or date changes) retains the original booking date for the purpose of our cancellation policy. For example, if you book on January 1st for a June 15th arrival, then later modify your reservation to August 15th, your original booking date of January 1st still applies when calculating the 60-day cancellation window.
  • Modifications made within 60 days of the original scheduled arrival date are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
  • If a modification results in a cancellation of the original dates within the 60-day non-refundable period, those dates remain non-refundable regardless of when the new dates are scheduled.

Important Notice: We strictly enforce this cancellation policy as our properties are primarily booked by guests planning their trips well in advance. When late cancellations occur, it becomes extremely challenging to rebook the property on short notice, resulting in lost revenue that impacts our small business. We understand that unexpected situations arise during travel, which is why we strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, family emergencies, severe weather events, flight disruptions, or other unexpected events that may affect your travel plans.
